Bay St. George Powwow held this past weekend

The Annual Bay St. George Powwow was held this past weekend in Flat Bay.

This is the first powwow since the pandemic began. The three-day event featured singing, dancing, and cultural events.

There was also a sweat lodge this year. Sweat lodges are heated structures that are used during certain purification rites and as a way to promote healthy living.
