Approximately three hours later, Bay St. George RCMP observed a vehicle driving erratically on St. Stephen’s Street in Stephenville. A traffic stop was conducted and the driver, a 24-year-old Flat Rock man, showed signs of alcohol impairment. He provided a roadside breath sample that was above the limit and was issued a seven-day driving suspension.

On Sunday evening Corner Brook RCMP stopped a vehicle on the Main Road in Benoit’s Cove. The driver, a 50-year-old Benoit’s Cove man, showed signs of alcohol impairment. He provided a roadside breath sample that was above the limit and was issued a seven-day driving suspension.

Approximately one hour later, Corner Brook RCMP conducted another traffic stop on the Main Road in Benoit’s Cove. The driver, a 19-year-old Corner Brook man, was operating a vehicle without insurance or registration, alone with a learners permit.
