U.S. Slaps More Charges on Huawei


The United States Department of Justice has tacked on more criminal charges against Huawei.

Huawei is accused of attempting to trade secrets from competitors in America.

Additionally they are accused of installing surveillance equipment that enabled Iran to spy on protesters during 2009 anti-government demonstrations in Iran and entering the North Korean market.

Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. is a Chinese multinational technology company. It provides telecommunications equipment and sells consumer electronics, smartphones and is headquartered in Shenzhen, Guangdong.
