James Forcillo Granted Full Parole

Police officer James Forcillo has been granted full parole.

Forcillo was the officer who shot and killed teenager Sammy Yatim over six years ago on an empty Toronto streetcar.

The Parole Board of Canada indicated that Forcillo was at a low risk to re-offend.

He will also no longer require psychological counselling.

He is also not permitted to have any contact with the family of Sammy Yatim.
