6 Philadelphia Police Officers Shot

Six police officers in Philadelphia have been wounded by gunfire. Police are in a standoff with the gunman. On Twitter, police are warning the public and the media to avoid the area. There are some 50 police vehicles on the scene. Temple University placed its Health Science's Center on lockdown. It is about 3 kilometers from the standoff. The officers injuries are described as non-life threatening.
