Town of St. Lewis Getting a New Town Hall
The Town of St. Lewis, on the southeastern Labrador coast, will be getting a new town hall.
The announcement was made on Friday during celebrations at St. Lewis Academy for National Indigenous Peoples Day.
The new building will consist of a town office, a fire hall and a centre for public functions and will come with a price tag of $470,290.
Of the cost, the province will pay for 60 percent and the town will need to pay for 40 percent.
