Golden Knights Take Game One


The Vegas Golden Knights got goals from five players, including three from two fourth-line forwards in the third period, to defeat the Washington Capitals 6-4 in Game 1 of the Stanley Cup Final at T-Mobile Arena on Monday.

Ryan Reaves tied the game at 2:41 of the third, and Tomas Nosek scored the winner at 10:16 and an empty-net goal with three seconds remaining.

Defenseman Colin Miller and forwards William Karlsson and Reilly Smith also scored for the Golden Knights. Marc-Andre Fleury made 24 saves.
