Health Employees Can Take 14 Days Off Without Sick Note

The Department of Health and Community Services and the regional health authorities are actively working on containment measures for COVID-19.

One such measure is for employees who are experiencing a respiratory illness. Effective immediately, employees working in health care go be off sick from work for a total of fourteen days without a sick note from a doctor.

This decision will be reassessed periodically, as the need arises.
