David Brazil hospitalized after medical event

The Leader of the Official Opposition David Brazil was hospitalized today after a medical event.

In a statement, Brazil said he was transported to the Health Sciences Centre.

He is in good spirits but will need time to recover. At this time he is asking for privacy.

Barry Petten will take over duties in the House of Assembly until Brazil returns.
