A number of Canadians are cutting back on spending in several key areas according to a recent poll by the Angus Reid Institute.
The report indicated that 61 per cent of Canadians cut back on discretionary spending in December.
46 per cent of respondents also delayed a major purchase while 38 per cent scaled back making donations.
The top issue for Canadians across the country was the cost of living followed by, health care, and housing affordability.
