By-Election Announced for Gros Morne #nlpoli

Bruce Chaulk, Newfoundland and Labrador’s Chief Electoral Officer, has issued a writ of election for the by-election in Humber – Gros Morne.

The by-election will take place on Tuesday, October 6, 2020.

Former Premier Dwight Ball has resigned as MHA, Premier Andrew Furey will run in his place.

Anyone wishing to run must file official nomination papers with Elections Newfoundland and Labrador by Tuesday, September 15 at 2:00 p.m. Nomination forms are available on Elections Newfoundland and Labrador’s website.
