Today there are eight new cases of COVID-19.
There are five cases in Eastern Health, one is in Central Health, and two are in Western Health.
Public Health is asking anyone who visited Sobeys at 45 Ropewalk Lane, St. John’s on August 29 from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.to arrange testing.
There are two new presumptive positive cases in the Western Health region.
There are currently 27 active cases of COVID-19 in the province.
To date, 271,909 tests have been administered.
Three cases are related to international travel. Three cases are related to travel within Canada. Two cases are a contact of a previously known case.
