At 1:46 pm Corner Brook RNC responded to a report of an assault in the Brookfield Avenue area.
A 21-year-old female resident of Corner Brook was charged with one count of assault and was released to appear in court at a later date.
Police say that the victim did not receive any injuries and victim and accused were not known to each other.
